Week 3 - 5-11.06.2017
I worked in Vantaa Monday to Friday and travelled back and forth to Vierumäki every day apart from Thursday night where I stayed in Helsinki.
I felt really exhausted all week, I don't get how people do "normal" weeks like this (5:30-18:00) and manage to work out and go to practice on top of it. It was a fair reality check on how tough it's going to be to come back, even though I'd be travelling by car which would reduce the commute time considerably.
I was helping out with the off-ice on a 5-7yo hockey camp, which mostly meant keeping them busy and trying to diversify their activities. I ended up running a bit, catching balls and climbing fences here and there, but no other exercising or training. I learned how to juggle with a football! I cycled and walked a fair bit everyday as well and on Friday night we went on the Par-3 again. It was still terrible but I did improve a bit.
I had an amazing time working at the camp and felt sad it was over on Friday. I used the weekend to recover and felt really guilty about it.
On Sunday we went for a quick dip in the lake despite the weather.
